Tube Girl! If you haven’t heard, I’ll fill you in. Sabrina Bahsoon has become a TikTok sensation for her videos unapologetically dancing in .5 lens on the tube. She’s inspired plenty of others to do the same (or the opposite). The song isn’t consistent every time, but it’s currently trending with this sound.
Well how often do YOU think about the Roman Empire? If you have no idea what I’m talking about, I wish I could be you. It was a simpler time then… BUT even Time Magazine is weighing in on the “How Often Do Men Think About the Roman Empire?” question. Ask a man in your life how often they think about the Roman Empire or give some thoughts on the “girl-version” of the Roman Empire.

Selling on Social 💰️
Platforms are putting some skin in the e-commerce game. With the official launch of TikTok Shop US just last week, we’ve pulled together a run down of the top shops you should know about to make that $$$.
TikTok Shop: Brands list products for creators to sell on in-feed videos, while LIVE streaming, or in a special product showcase tab. Rumor has it TikTok may stop creators linking to other storefront platforms.
Discord Server Shop: Still incoming, the Discord Server Shop is ideal for creators who have cultivated intimate Discord communities to sell products directly on the platform to their following.
Amazon Storefront: Probably the one we are the most familiar with. An Amazon storefront lets you link your favorite products that can be purchased on Amazon and take a commission on every purchase you drive.
Brands Banking on Groupchats 🗨️
Everyone is trying to get in on the groupchat phenomenon right now. Creator spaces are getting more and more intimate (ahem… Canopy), and the big players are trying to stay involved.
Patreon: In a recent Business Insider article, Patreon CEO stated that they were looking to redefine creator-fan interactions. Creators can have built in subscriber tiers and maintain that connection more personally.
ClubHouse: Former audio behemoth, ClubHouse is also moving to groupchats to get people back on the app. In their own words, imagine if your group texts and your Instagram Stories met at hte park, talked for hours, became best friends and fell in love.” (We’re not too sure what that means either…)
Go Live on Vertical ⏯️
The moment we’ve all been waiting for, YouTube has finally introduced an infinite scroll, TikTok-Style, LIVE feed. If you love playing around on LIVE on TikTok, this new feature will let you do the same on YouTube. This move highlights YouTube’s growing push to short-form content. If you’ve ever thought about creating a Shorts audience, this could be your moment!
